Mini Haul

Hello everyone!

This Saturday I went on a mini shopping trip to one mall in Zagreb.  I only picked up a few stuff I needed for a formal occasion and and also couldn´t resit buying a few makeup treats . So here is a picture of almost all of the stuff I bought ( the one item missing are my new flats):

The items I bought are a catrice nail varnish in the shade 190 wrapped around my finger ( really pretty, darker pink shade), a nail varnish from misslyn limited edition peacock collection in the shade  729 leguan, an essence eyeshadow in 49, cool breeze , an essence kabuki brush from the LE collection soul sista and finally , my favourite, the lip and cheek pot in 01peach punk , from the essence LE rebels collection which I really,really like .

This little bag I bought in Deichmann, it is just a small black bag and the material its made of feels like small metal scales. You can wear it over the shoulder or just put the chain in the bag and wear it as a clutch.

The polishes are both really pretty. The Catrice one is gorgeus and two coats are enaugh, not streaky and applies easily. The misslyn polish has to be applied over a black nail varnish or else you wont be able to see it very well ( it is an effect polish after all), but it is pretty and I love it.

This essence kabuki is very dense and soft like a dream, for that price ( only 34 HRK, around 6 dollars) its worth buying.

The much hyped about cheek and lip pot is worth the hype, it is a pretty , coral shade which looks amazing on both the cheeks and the lips.

Essence eyeshadow in cool breeze. Its ok, I needed a blue eyeshadow and have been using this for a daytime look.
 I do not know why, but I cant upload the flats so Ill finish with this :D

Catrice Big City Life London and Berlin palette

Hello everyone!

Today I will be talking about  the two palletes from Catrice BCL limited edition collection. Here, in Croatia, we only recieved the London and Berlin palettes and I have them both .

This is how the actual palettes look like. The packacing is actually a cardboard & plastic mix and it has a little magnet on the lid and one end of the box and that is how you close it :). The London one is yellow and has some London landmarks and Berlin is pink, I  for one find them very cute . ( I took the photos from the Catrice website because my palettes are a little scratched )

This is how the inside looks , you get 6 eyeshadows ( 1.5g/0.05oz) and 2 blushes ( 2.5g/0.008 oz). You also get a small kohl , black eyeliner and a small two-sided brush.

 The picture rotated kind of funny so you cant see the names I put in, but the shades are ( from top to bottom) : City Hall, Hyde Park, Big Ben, Globe Theatre, Piccadilly Circus and Tower bridge  and
the the 2 blushes : London Eye and Greenwich

Berlin i more pigmented of the 2 and the tones are warm . The shades are ( from top to bottom ) ; Unter den Linden ( bronzer/blush) , Siegerssäule ( blush), then the eyeshadows; Tiergarten , Branderburger Tor, Am Alex, Berlin Wall, Ku´Damm, Chckpoint Charlie.

My absolute no.1 from both palettes is Checkpoint Charlie. It doesent show up on pictures, but it actually change colour in RL , it is a pretty golden/pink shade.

In Croatia the palettes are available in all Kozmo stores. The price is around 60 HRK for one palette ( around 11$ ) .

Introductory post

Hello everyone! 

I guess every blog should have a first post, so here is mine. My name is Z. and Im a girl who loves makeup  and fashion. On this blog you will be able to read reviews, look at my nail and face looks and read about everything else I find interesting to read about :D .   I hope we will all have great time together and that you will enjoy my scribblings . Most of  the posts I will write in both english, but keep in mind that I am from Croatia when reading about prices and shops.
